Ages 16+
In this stage of life, you and your child begin planning for adulthood and the future. What kind of job would they enjoy? Where will they live? Our SSAs will work with you and your child to identify needs and set goals while continuing to assist with community resources, and working collaboratively with your child’s school for services and IEP.
We also offer job skill development programs for people in this age group, including Project SEARCH, Quest Discovery, and Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities.
If eligible for our services, you will be assigned an SSA from our Community Living Services Department (CLS) who will assist you in planning for your future, and finding community resources to meet your needs.
