We help you create your best life and try new things that can help discover your interests and passions. We help you to identify employment options and to become a productive member of the community.
Why Should You Be Interested in CCE?
Because YOU have a lot to offer! Every person has abilities, skills, and talents that enrich the community and the people around us. We encourage you to discover things about yourself that maybe you’ve never even thought possible! We help you try new things and get involved through community engagement and employment opportunities.
Through new activities and experiences, we will help you to identify your abilities, interests, skills, challenges, and possible barriers. We then discuss with you and your team the options for next steps toward community engagement and employment options. You are in the drivers seat!

What Should You Expect?
Let’s Get Started! Connecting with a Community Navigator is the first step. Because each step is lead by you, everyone’s experience is different! The next step is your navigator learning as much as possible about who you are, what makes you excited, and how you want your life to look. This can take place through a virtual conversation, a hike at Glen Helen, or even a visit to the local flea market! From there, we work with you and your team to make connections in our community that can help you take a step towards making your dreams a reality. These connections could look like a cooking class, a group fitness class, an art class, or so many more opportunities.

How We Support Your Business and the Person with DD
There is a network of Job Coaches that support the business and the individual with DD at no cost to the business.
The coach learns the job, then trains the individual at your location. Once the individual is fully trained, the coach slowly backs away from being with the individual full-time until the individual is able to do the job completely independently. If ever there is a problem that the manager is unable to handle, the job coach can step in to resolve the issue or re-train the individual. We want this to be a positive experience for everyone involved, and we will do our best to assist the manager and the individual to make it work smoothly.
