Settlement agreement in Ball v. DeWine | Developmental Disabilities of Clark County

Settlement agreement in Ball v. DeWine

Recently, the federal court preliminarily approved the proposed settlement agreement in Ball v. DeWine. The parties to the settlement agreement are the Plaintiffs, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), the Ohio Department of Medicaid, Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, and the Ohio Association of County Boards. We are notifying the class members about this proposed settlement by sending them the attached notice.
Additionally, the court settlement requires DODD to send this notice to the superintendent at each of the 88 county boards of developmental disabilities. DODD asks that you post this attached notice in a conspicuous area of your facility where you generally post other public information. In addition, the notice mentions that anyone may obtain a copy of the settlement agreement from a county board. DODD has attached a copy of the agreement in case you receive requests for it.
If you have further questions about this email, please contact the Ohio Association of County Boards of Developmental Disabilities.
